We have nominated a representative, Mr. FOK Tak-ming, to the (Industry Consultative Networks). He was appointed to the Industry Consultative Networks on a personal capacity and has been published in Government Gazette.
The scope of training

Professional security staffs need to upgrade their knowledge to prepare for appointment as a security manager. Newly appointed security staffs require guidance and training. Long-serving security managers need to continually improve their security management skills and keep up to date with all issues affecting their ability to fulfill their role.

APSA's development training is created by security management for security managers. They include:-

  • Certificate of Security Supervisors Studies
  • Security System Installation and Design Application Course
  • Security Course (Housing Contract) Training Course
  • Security Guard Basic Training Course (QAS)
  • Guard Dog Handler Elementary Training Course
  • Guard Dog Handler Intermediate Training Course
  • VIP Protection Course

Attending these training courses leads to a Certificate, Diploma or Professional Diploma, as appropriate. The Professional Diploma further initiates the path to post-graduate degree programmes offered by allied universities.

The training venue, The Asian Professional Security Training Institute is situated in Room 1811, 18/F., New Tech Plaza, No. 34 Tai Yau Street, San Po Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong which is easily accessible by various means of transportation.
